To speed up this process, be sure to request the Disability Supplement at the same time as you get the MassHealth application .

- Pick the appropriate one of the two Disability Supplement forms, depending on your childs age . The form tells the review office about your childs medical and mental health providers, daily activities, and educational background. The Registered Disability Savings Plan is an excellent way for friends and family to help build up a trust fund that will help support your child in future years. Its quick to build, because the Government of Canada actually pays 300% of your own contributions up to a maximum of $3,500 per year, and youre usually guaranteed a five percent return.

Reviewing Your Medical Condition

Frequency of reviews
How often your medical condition is reviewed depends on how severe it is and the likelihood it will improve. Your award notice tells you when you can expect your first review.

What happens during a review?
You will receive a letter telling you that they are conducting a review.
