An Nda Not A Proposal
Not long after Hollywoods marriage ended, he started dating 23-year-old barmaid Summer Monteys-Fullam. Their relationship lasted two years before ending in dramatic fashion. Monteys-Fullam was expecting Hollywood to propose when he reportedly presented her with a non-disclosure agreement. Apparently, he didnt want her revealing any of their relationship secrets. She dumped him on the spot.
Take whats read with a pinch of salt and read between the lines, Hollywood tweeted. I know the public cant be duped into believing whats out there from a person making money selling stories! and continuously courting the papsTheres always two sides to a story youve only heard one but alas I dont play those games.

And as it was his first live TV bake, Rahul wanted everything to go well.
But unfortunately for him the demonstration started off a little dicey, as he put all of the ingredients into a bowl and began whisking them.
As he powered on his electric whisk a large dusting of flour flew up and covered Ruth Langsford.
The Truth About Great British Bake Off Winner Rahul Mandal
The winner of the ninth series of the Great British Bake Off is an accomplished man. Rahul Mandal impressed the judges and viewers with his extraordinary baking skills. It’s also interesting to note that he didn’t come from a culinary background, and was doing something entirely different when he decided to give the show a shot
Things have been difficult for Mandal. According to Bustle, when Rahul first moved to the U.K. from India, he was alone and didn’t know anybody. Things looked up for the future star when a couple he’d befriended decided to help him out. As for being a part of the show, the thought didn’t even cross Mandal’s mind until a colleague kept asking him to apply. He went on to win the show in 2018, appealing to viewers through his unique story and likable personality.
One of the judges, Prue Leith, praised Mandal, saying, “I think the amazing thing about Rahul and why I am so proud of him is that he came in unconfident, but he just kept going.”
Mandal again showed off his skills during a New Year’s special edition of the show, and again emerged victorious. According to Digital Spy, Mandal said that he would like to dedicate the award to all the bakers who have been a part of the show. “It belongs to all of you,” he said, “because I learnt a lot from every single one of you.”

Great British Bake Off Viewers ‘in Tears’ Over Rahul’s Gesture To Noel Fielding
It’s been dubbed the ‘cutest moment’ in Bake Off history
- 11:25, 4 JAN 2021
The Great British Bake Off returned last night for a special episode to welcome the New Year.
While fans were overjoyed by the much-needed one-off, some were brought to tears after Noel Fielding revealed what Rahul had done for his daughter.
The Channel 4 episode saw four previous contestants return to the tent Helena, Henry, Nancy, and 2018 winner Rahul.
They were tasked with three challenges, including a crumble, bao buns, and a 21st birthday cake showstopper.
As judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood were doing the rounds at each baker’s station, Rahul explained that he was making a chocolate and orange cake with a hazelnut and chocolate swiss meringue buttercream.
Here, presenter Noel told the judges of how Rahul baked a cake for his daughter Dali’s first birthday last year.
“On my daughters first birthday, Rahul made her cake and came down all the way from Rotherham on the train with a cake on his lap what a legend, he said.
Rahul-lovers took to Twitter to share their amazement over the gesture, with one sharing: “Honestly in tears learning Rahul baked Noels daughters bday cake. TOO SWEET .”
Another posted: “Rahul made Noel’s daughter’s first birthday cake I’m not crying shut up.”
And the tears continued with Rahul’s winner speech after Prue and Paul crowned him Star Baker 2021.
Bake Off Winner Rahul Accused Of ‘lying’ By Fans Who Slam ‘special Treatment’ From Judges
Viewers of Great British Bake Off were left furious after Rahul Mandal was crowned the winner following a series of failures throughout the tasks.
Furious fans took to Twitter to share their disappointment the scientist scooped the coveted trophy over his contestants, which also included Ruby Bhogal, 30, after being given an extra 15 minutes in the showstopper challenge.
Judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith decided to gives Rahul extra time to prepare his showstopper task, after a shattered glass meant producers had to clear any ingredients that might be a heath risk – forcing him to start from scratch.
However, the decision didn’t go down well with viewers who slammed the extra time as ‘special treatment’ before criticising what they deemed a lacklustre performance in the both the signature and technical challenges.
Instead, fans believe Kim-Joy should have taken the crown after winning the technical challenge over Rahul, who burnt his pitta breads during the test which saw them cook outside the tent on an open flame for the first time ever.
What’s more, eagle-eyed fans claim Rahul ‘lied’ about never having eaten a donught despite later stating that he preferred the baked treat ‘with lots of filling’.

They’re all star bakers in our eyes
From soggy bottoms to binned baked Alaska’s there’s no arguing that the Great British Bake Off is one of the most loved shows on television.
And it is no surprise that Yorkshire has contributed some top-class bakers since the series started to grace the white Bake Off tent.
Almost every area of the region has produced a show-stopping talent who managed to make it to the final 12 of the competition and blew the judges away.
A total of four winners of GBBO have come from Yorkshire with many more making mouth-watering bakes that took them far in the competition.
So, here at Yorkshire Live we have had a look back at the last 11 series to find some of the most and least successful bakers in the tent.
The Season 8 Instagram Scandal
The contestants on the GBBO are not supposed to be professional bakers. But during season 8, many fans were convinced that Steven Carter-Bailey was a secret pro. Carter-Bailey won Star Baker the first two weeks.
But then, fans discovered his Instagram account and found images of showstopping cakes. Twitter was convinced that the fix was in.

Helen Garcia Series 10
For Helena, a 40-year-old online production manager from Leeds a week all about the roaring twenties proved too much of a task.
The goth and Halloween Queen had impressed judges with her first place in the technical bake but her ‘soapy’ signature and dry showstopper meant that she left the tent in round five.
But she also left alongside another baker in a shock double dumping.

I Was Pretty Much Mute At School: How Bake Offs Kim
Her animal biscuits and warm personality delighted audiences. She talks about social anxiety, her work in mental healthcare and the surprising therapy of baking
Kim-Joys house lies down a wiggly lane between Leeds and York, a mystical place off the radar, she says. Right now, it is full Bake Off, her table taken up by the giant goodbye cake contestants are given when they leave , her shelves laden with different flours, in chic, labelled glazed pottery. The kitchen gives out on to huge fields at the back, a completely undreamed of scene of peace, with the worlds two free-rangiest chickens. I think my neighbour might have a horse, Kim-Joy says, dreamily. How can you think someone might have a horse? I ask. She gives me a smile as warm and perceptibly calm as the one that had such a soothing effect on the Bake Off tent, uncurdling every dicey batter.
Im not saying Rahul shouldnt have won Bake Off he has distinctive qualities of his own. But Kim-Joy is such an unusual person for the public eye, so self-effacing, so restrained and undramatic, give or take the eyeliner, that she could have had a prize in her own category: Balm to the Nations Psyche.
People who are bakers always tend to be nice people, just because they want to give to other people, she says, and its true you dont see many people making cakes for themselves, except in romcoms. How can you bake and not be nice? she adds.

Bake Offs Rahul Mandal Now
Great British Bake Off winner Dr. Rahul Mandal was adored for his apologetic and self-deprecating nature – and after his win he returned to his career in nuclear research, and campaigns to get kids into STEM
Dr. Rahul Mandal unwittingly sparked a scandal when he won Great British Bake Off in 2018.
The Indian-born baking star said winning the show was “the coolest thing” he’d ever done, and admitted he hoped it would help improve his confidence.
Rahul’s shyness and self-deprecation made him one of the series’ most memorable bakers, but his win wasn’t without controversy.
He had been given an extra 15 minutes to prepare his creation for the showstopper challenge after a storage jar shattered, apparently due to the extreme heat in the bakers’ tent as temperatures soared to 32 degrees, sending shards of glass flying everywhere.
Rahul’s edible rock garden was ruined as broken bits of glass went into his cake mixture and all over his workbench.
Mortified Rahul said: “Just literally the whole thing exploded. I don’t want to use any of these as there could be glass.”
The concerned crew rushed in to clear the area and had to throw away anything that could contain broken glass.

It was deemed a dangerous health risk and so the producers had to ensure absolutely none of his ingredients had glass in, so he started again from scratch.
But baking wasn’t multi-talented Rahul’s only skill.

Chris Woakes Stars As England Dismiss India For 191 At The Kia Oval
Chris Woakes made up for lost time on his return to Englands Test side, claiming four wickets as India were hustled out for 191 on day one at the Kia Oval.
Woakes was back in the side for the first time in a year, a period blighted by Covid-19 complications in Sri Lanka and injury issues, and showed just what the side had been missing.
He needed just six balls to open his account and finished with four for 55, with two dropped catches off his bowling.
India, who were thrashed by an innings at Headingley last week, were given a remarkable late boost by number eight Shardul Thakur, who made 57.
He launched an indiscriminate assault on the home attack, clubbing seven fours and three sixes as he stole Sir Ian Bothams 35-year-old record for the fastest Test fifty on English soil.
He got there in 31 deliveries, pulling Ollie Robinson into the stands, to beat Bothams effort at the same ground by a single ball.
But there was no doubting which side was happiest at the change over, England having dismissed the tourists in 61.3 overs for a very manageable score.
Joe Root had sent the tourists in with clouds overhead and a tinge of green under foot but doubts may have started to creep in during a sedate first half-hour.
James Anderson was pulled from the attack after conceding 20 from his first four overs, allowing Woakes an early look at the Indian openers.
An Alleged Affair In Season 4
During season 4, contestant Ruby Tandoh made it to the final. But many viewers were convinced that the only reason she got that far was because she had an affair with Hollywood.
Fans witnessed the flirty interaction between Tandoh and Hollywood, and they went after her on Twitter. She fought back, by announcing she was a lesbian.
For those who thought I fancied Paul Hollywood or that Id ever bang him to get ahead JOKES ON YOU, YOU MASSIVE S**TTING MISOGYNISTS, Tandoh tweeted.

The Baked Alaska Sabotage
Social media absolutely blew up during season 5 when contestant Diana Bead was accused of Baked Alaska sabotage. She took fellow baker Iain Watters ice cream out of the freezer, which turned it into a pile of melty goo.
Iain ended up tossing the whole thing in the garbage and walking out of the tent to cool off. Meanwhile, Diana gave Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood a beautiful Alaska swan. All Iain could do was show the judges the trash can. He was ultimately sent home, and it became a national news story. GBBO fans dubbed Diana the ice cream-melting supervillain.
